This is my Series 1 240Z, which I purchased new on March 31, 1971 from Jack Crew Trophy Datsun in Dallas, TX. Built in December 1970, the car is titled as a 1971 model. In 1999 I began a total re-build of the car. The project was suspended in 2000 and resumed in 2009. Still very much a "work in progress", these pictures show a bit of the current state of the project. As of 06/14/2010, the refreshed rolling chassis is off to get new body paint and expected to be back in my hands in September.
