Jim Hagani's 1980 280ZX
[photo: zx1.jpg]
This is what the Z looked like shortly after I drove it home from the previous owner (PO).
Here are some of the things the prior owner had done last year:
Custom cold air intake with K+N Filter,
Head port + polished - milled for compression,
Competition valve job,
Custom ground cam(Schneider) with matching springs,New mass air flow sensor,
Pacesetter header,
Custom bent 2 inch exhaust with Catco High flow catalytic,
Turbo muffler,
New fuel injectors,
New Centerforce clutch and throw out bearing.

Notice the black and yellow 3A Racing seats that had been installed.
Unfortunately, the seats were wider than stock and were basically wedged in so tight that they could not be adjusted.
Also, there was no place to buckle the stock seat belts, so the PO took the belts out and never installed a compatible set in their place.
Project #1 was to remove those seats - I grabbed the beige leather seats out of my 1981 ZXT and installed them: a perfect fit!
